Mitch Holder has been part of the Los Angeles music scene as a guitarist for many decades, spanning the varied areas of the recording world from records to movie soundtracks to TV shows to jingle work. His expertise has taken him into the world of pop, rock, R 'n B, funk, world music, jazz, blues country, symphonic, show music, opera and just about everything in between. He has also been involved in guitar design and both the history of the instrument as well as the evolution of the players that brought the guitar to the light of day from the annals of being solely a rhythm instrument.

From the beginning, Mitch’s first love has been jazz and he is eager to share his artistry of the jazz guitar and to spread interest in both jazz and the jazz guitar to people all over the world. He has taught individually, conducted clinics and guitar workshops for many years and helped his students take the mysteries out of jazz improvisation. So sit back, relax and peruse the site.
